Unit Channels
If you like keeping up with the latest happenings at F&S, consider following the unit’s socials.
You can find job postings on LinkedIn; videos from active capital projects and recent Diversity and Inclusion Noontime Knowledge talks on YouTube; photos of F&S projects on Facebook, Instagram, and X; news and fun, light-hearted banter on Threads; and so much more. Whatever your preferred platform, F&S has a way for you to keep in touch and stay informed, and the links are always available at the bottom of the E-Update.
F&S Customer Relations & Communications operates these established, university-verified accounts and can help assist with posting divisional and departmental information and project updates as necessary
Guidelines and Best Practices
F&S encourages all employees to use follow and use all F&S social media channels to help spread awareness of recent successes, positive impact stories, and as a way to generate a sense of community.
Employees are encouraged to share content from the F&S website, INSIDER site, or directly from your work experiences on campus. Photos and videos help tell that story. Use the hashtag #ILLINOIS to add to the international community of students, faculty, staff, alumnus, and others who care about the U. of I.
