Office Manager in Planning, Design, and Construction – Apply by July 6

This position performs a wide variety of administrative duties for the Planning, Design, and Construction team, with emphasis in supporting: Director of Project Delivery and Director of Planning & Design.

Planner, Campus Historic Preservation Officer – Apply by July 8

The Planner Campus Historic Preservation Officer is responsible for project planning at all levels, from project definition through design. Project planning duties include assisting in the evaluation and establishment of campus standards for project definition, planning, design, and methods of project delivery. The Planner Campus Historic Preservation Officer also has primary responsibility to serve as the campus consultant on all facilities or properties for which preservation issues are of concern. Consultation with the Associate Director of Project Planning and Director of Planning and Design is required on all major decisions.

Driver Foreperson – Apply by July 10

The Driver Foreperson plans, coordinates, assigns, and supervises transportation and moving operations involving personnel, equipment, supplies, materials and vehicles. The Foreperson provides supervision to Drivers, Heavy Drivers, Driver Sub-Forepersons, and other assigned personnel, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and professionally. This position is responsible for setting expectations, maintaining accountability, and fostering a respectful work environment.

Capital Maintenance Planning Professional – Apply by July 25

The Capital Maintenance Planning Professional, has primary responsibility for pre-planning efforts addressing deferred maintenance for academic facilities. Using professional project delivery expertise, technical knowledge of building systems and codes, develop preliminary project scopes and budgets to address known deficiencies, assist in the prioritization of campus capital renewal needs, review construction documents and shop drawings provided by professional services consultants and internal F&S staff to confirm conformance with identified scope, provide opinion on applicable codes, and accurately track completed deficiencies in the facility condition reports. Maintain accurate record keeping of the completed projects. Support the mission, vision, values and guiding principles of Facilities & Services.

Interior Designer, Capital Planning – Apply by July 31

The Interior Designer, Capital Planning, has primary responsibility for project planning at all levels as it relates to interior design. This includes developing the scope for interior projects with campus clients/users. It also includes selection of interior materials and furniture; development, review, and processing of quotes for small project purchases; coordination of installations; and collaborating with F&S Engineering Services on small projects. The position will be responsible for assisting in the evaluation and establishment of campus standards for project definition, planning, and design.
