New Team Member Orientation
Newly-hired F&S staff should attend New Team Member Orientation. Attendees learn about our mission, vision, values, guiding principles, departments and divisions, payroll and timekeeping, employee expectations, employee recognition programs, benefits, and more. Attendance is required, and if you supervise employees, your cooperation is appreciated in ensuring your new team members attend on their first day of employment. Sessions are held in person in PPSB conference room 128 and/or online via Teams. For information on upcoming sessions, please visit the F&S training calendar: https://go.fs.illinois.edu/Training. Questions may be addressed to Joseph Meeker jlmeeke2@uillinois.edu, F&S training and development specialist, 217-300-6568.

AiM Overview Training is a brief walkthrough of the AiM WorkDesk layout, icon functions, editing data, searching, and creating personal queries. It is essential for new employees and a great refresher for infrequent users as well.
AiM Training is now on-line! You no longer have to wait for the monthly training sessions, you can view the AiM Basic Overview Training on-line at your convenience, in your preferred setting.

Vacation Sick Leave Application
We have a new program that will track the vacation sick leave for all Academic Professionals. This will replace the spreadsheet that Payroll collects twice a year. With this new application you will be able to enter your time when you take it, plan out your leave, and see balances to better track your time. Below you will find a training video that explains how to submit days. Please take a few minutes to review the application.
You can get to the application at the following address: https://portal.fs.illinois.edu/. We will also add a link to the my.fs page soon. Look for it on the left bar and it will be called AVSL. Please enter any time you have taken beginning with August 16, 2014.
