Campus Administrative Manual (CAM) Policies

Mailing Procedures

Campus Mail
Campus mail is a free resource and includes pickup and delivery of mail, library books, and packages under 10 pounds once a day. Intercampus mail should be placed in the appropriate cubby in the bottom of the F&S mailbox stand.

U.S. Postal Service Mail (USPS)
Business/work-related mail that needs postage should be placed in the appropriate cubby in the bottom of the F&S mailbox stand. This includes letters, library books, and media. These items will be metered and delivered to the USPS everyday or routed through the university’s international handler as needed.

Personal, stamped mail can be placed in the propper cubby in the same location.

United Parcel Service (UPS)
Packages to be shipped via UPS, with a pre-paid label or with a work order/step, phase badge number, and reason provided should be taken to Receiving in the north end of the PPSB west hallway, across from the Mill Shop (see map).

Federal Express (FedEx)
Packages to be shipped via FedEx should have a pre-paid label or Fedex account number and should be taken to Central Stores. FedEx and other carriers also have toll-free numbers to call for pickups from any location.

18×24 and over – first 5 plots free, charges apply after that (need work order & phase)

Professional Development Library

The Professional Development Library (“Library”) supports F&S staff in improving themselves, their work, and ultimately their service to the university community by providing relevant and accessible resources.

The Records & Information Management (RIM) Specialist is responsible for the management of the Library. The development and selection of material is the responsibility of the RIM Specialist and the RIM Graduate Assistant.
